CBM-Calvert hosted its Youth Recognition Awards on Feb. 24.

At left are Youth Recognition Award recipients Glen Holland of Calvert Middle School in Prince Frederick, with his mother Dolores Parran, and Shawnte' Scayles of Patuxent High School in Lusby, with her parents Curtis and Deborah Scayles. Holland was honored for his academic acheivement while Scayles was noted for her community service efforts. Other students from throughout Southern Maryland were also honored for their academic, community service, trade or performing arts successes.
